Rooftop Level

Terrace & Outdoor Kitchen

Mountain views across the Front Range with fire pit, pizza oven, and gas grill

Quick Start

We're filming our own walkthrough soon.
🍕

Pizza Oven

Preheat 20–25 minutes on high with the door closed. Use the infrared thermometer in the side drawer — stone needs 750°F+. Rotate every 20–30 seconds. Full guide: Outdoor Kitchen.

🥩

Gas Grill

Open the propane tank valve slowly (count to 5 as you turn). Set knob to High, press igniter, preheat 10–15 min. Full guide: Outdoor Kitchen.

🔥

Fire Pit

Propane fire pit. Open the tank valve, push the knob in and turn to PILOT, press the igniter, and hold the knob in for 30–60 seconds after the flame catches. Full guide: Fire Pit.

🎵

Speakers & Lighting

Tap Rooftop on any iPad kiosk — outdoor Sonos comes on, lights set to ambient. To play your music, open the Sonos app and pick a source for the Rooftop room.

Pro Tips

1

Best Sunset Views

The magic happens around 7 PM in summer. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and watch the sun paint the Front Range. Peak season is May through October.

2

Pizza Oven Party

Get the stone screaming hot, set up a topping bar, and let everyone build their own. Two-minute pizzas with a Front Range backdrop is the kind of dinner guests remember.

3

Fire Pit Finale

Light the fire pit after dinner for dessert and conversation. The view of city lights below and stars above with the Front Range silhouette is unforgettable.

If Something's Not Working

Fire Pit Lights Then Goes Out

You released the knob too early. The thermocouple needs 30–60 seconds in the flame before it'll keep the gas valve open on its own. Hold the knob in longer than feels natural and try again. Full troubleshooting: Fire Pit guide.

Grill Flame is Weak (Bypass Mode)

Almost always the propane regulator stuck in bypass after a fast tank-open. Turn off all knobs and the tank valve, disconnect the regulator from the tank, wait 1 minute, reconnect, then reopen the tank valve slowly over 5+ seconds. Wait 30 seconds before lighting.

Music Plays Inside but Rooftop is Silent

Open the Sonos app, tap Rooftop, and either group it with the playing room or raise its individual volume — group volume can be loud while one room sits at 5%. If Rooftop is missing from the app entirely, the outdoor amp may have lost wifi — text me.

Outdoor Lights Won't Come On With the Scene

Outdoor circuits sometimes have a separate weatherproof switch — check the wall near the door and flip it on if off. After a power blip, the outdoor relay can take 60 seconds to come back. Re-tap the scene then.
