Wolf Oven

Quick Start

  • Press Bake, set the temp on the touchpad, press Start
  • Allow 10–15 min to preheat β€” the light on the door turns off when it's ready
  • Middle rack is the sweet spot; upper runs hotter, lower runs cooler

Pro Tips

  • Convection mode circulates heat for faster, more even bakes β€” great for cookies, pastries, roasted veg
  • If the cooling fan keeps running after you turn the oven off, that's normal β€” it can run 15–30 minutes after a high bake until the electronics cool down

If It's Not Working

  • Fan won't quit after cooking: Not a malfunction. The cooling fan runs until internal temps drop β€” give it 15–30 minutes and it shuts off on its own.
  • Display error code: Power it off for 30 seconds and turn back on. If the code returns, just text me.
  • Uneven heat: Make sure racks are fully seated and the door closes flush.

Wolf Stovetop

Quick Start

  • Push the knob in, turn counter-clockwise to "LITE" β€” listen for click, watch for flame
  • Then dial down to your desired heat β€” low for simmering, high for boiling
  • Match burner size to pan; oversized cookware can starve the burner of oxygen

Pro Tips

  • If the igniter clicks for a few seconds before lighting after the burners haven't been used in a while, that's air in the gas line β€” totally normal
  • Keep the burner caps flat in their slots. A misaligned cap is the #1 reason a burner clicks forever

If It's Not Working

  • Burner won't stop clicking: Turn it off, wait one minute, try again. If it still clicks, lift the burner cap and reseat it flat in the slot β€” that fixes it most of the time.
  • Just clicking, no flame: Moisture got in (boil-over or recent cleaning). Pull the cap off and let it air-dry several hours. No hair dryer β€” the heat damages the spark electrode.
  • Flame keeps lifting / igniter re-fires: Pan is too big and starving the burner. Drop to a smaller pan or lower the flame.
  • Knob feels stuck: Push down gently and release β€” a stuck knob can cause continuous clicking.

Sub-Zero Fridge

Quick Start

  • Already set to 38Β°F fridge / 0Β°F freezer β€” no need to change anything
  • Open and close the door firmly until you hear the seal catch
  • Door bins are deep β€” watch for tall jars blocking the door from latching

Pro Tips

  • If the alarm goes off and you need quiet for a minute, hold Alarm and Power together for 5 seconds β€” silences for 24 hours
  • Wipe the door gasket if it ever feels sticky; even a crumb on the seal will hold the door open a few millimeters and trigger the alarm

If It's Not Working

  • Beeping or "door ajar" alarm: 9 times out of 10 it's a jar lid or drawer keeping the door from latching fully. Open it, look inside the door bins, push everything back, close firmly.
  • Beeping won't stop: Hold Alarm + Power for 5 seconds to silence for 24 hours while you figure it out.
  • Wrench icon on the display: That's a service code β€” leave it and just text me.
  • Nothing's working at all: The breaker labeled "Sub-Zero" can be flipped off for 30 seconds and back on for a hard reset.

Miele Coffee Station

Quick Start

  • Press the power button (top right). The machine auto-rinses β€” wait for "Ready"
  • Place a cup, tap espresso / americano / cappuccino on the touchscreen
  • Beans go in the hopper on top; fresh whole beans only

Pro Tips

  • The grinder dial is on the right side door β€” set fine for espresso, middle for americano. This is the move
  • Pre-warm the cup under the hot water spout for 5 seconds before brewing β€” keeps the shot hot through the crema

If It's Not Working

  • Espresso comes out weak / watery: Turn the grind dial one notch toward "Fine." Most-common owner fix.
  • "Descale appliance" prompt: Use only the Miele descaling tablets in the pantry β€” vinegar voids the warranty. Fill the tank to the MAX line, start the cycle, and let it run all the way through (~20 min). Interrupting it makes the machine ask again next time.
  • No crema, fast pour: Beans are stale or the brew unit needs a rinse. Try fresh beans first.
  • Pale shot after a descale: Run a short hot-water dispense to fully purge the line, then re-pull.

Microwave

We're filming our own walkthrough soon.

Quick Start

  • Place food inside and close the door securely
  • Use the keypad to enter time and select a power level (1–10, with 10 being maximum power)
  • Press Start; the timer counts down and beeps when done

Pro Tips

  • Sensor Cook mode (button on the front) is surprisingly smartβ€”select your food type and let it adjust time and power automatically
  • For uneven foods like leftover pizza or fish, use power level 6 or 7 and stir halfway through

If It's Not Working

  • Won't start: Make sure the door is fully closed and latched
  • Child lock on: If the display shows a lock icon, press and hold the lock button (usually on the side) for 3 seconds to disable
  • Beeping but not heating: Check that you selected a power level above 0 and the timer isn't set to 0:00
