Miele Coffee Bar

Press the power button (top right). The machine auto-rinses — wait for "Ready," place a cup, tap espresso / americano / cappuccino on the touchscreen. Grinder dial on the right side door: fine for espresso, middle for americano. Full guide: Kitchen.

Wolf Range

Push the knob in, turn counter-clockwise to "LITE" — listen for click, watch for flame, then dial to your heat. For the oven: press Bake, set temp, press Start, allow 10–15 min preheat. Full guide: Kitchen.

Sub-Zero Fridge

Already set to 38°F / 0°F — no need to change anything. Close the doors firmly until the seal catches. Full guide: Kitchen.

Music & Lighting

Tap the iPad kiosk → "Gathering" or "Main" scene to set lighting and shades for entertaining. For background music, open the Sonos app, group Kitchen + Dining + Living, pick a playlist.

Pro Tips

Coffee Like a Barista

Grinder dial on the right side door: fine for espresso, middle for americano. This is the move. Pre-warm the cup under the hot water spout for 5 seconds before brewing — keeps the shot hot through the crema.

Island as Your Gathering Spot

This is the heart of the home. It's the best place for morning coffee, homework sessions, or a casual aperitif before dinner. The high-backed stools are made for lingering conversations. The pendant lights above create an intimate ambiance in the evening.

Pantry Essentials

Premium oils, vinegars, and spices are stocked in the tall pantry cabinet to the left of the range. Salt and pepper mills are on the counter. Extra cookware, baking sheets, and mixing bowls are in the drawers below the island. Everything is labeled for easy finding.

If Something's Not Working

Espresso is Weak / Watery

Turn the grind dial one notch toward "Fine." Most-common owner fix on this machine. Full Miele troubleshooting: Kitchen guide.

Burner Won't Stop Clicking

Turn it off, wait one minute, try again. If still clicking, lift the burner cap and reseat it flat in the slot — a misaligned cap is the #1 cause. Full Wolf troubleshooting: Kitchen guide.

Sub-Zero Beeping

Almost always a jar lid or drawer keeping a door from latching fully. Open it, check the door bins, push everything back, close firmly. To silence the alarm for 24 hours, hold Alarm + Power together for 5 seconds.

Music in Two Rooms is Out of Sync

Open the Sonos app, ungroup the rooms, then regroup them. If still out of sync, unplug the lagging speaker for 10 seconds and let it rejoin.

Range Hood Stuck on High

Most hoods auto-run at low for 10–15 min after high heat to clear the duct — that's normal. Press Off or Power twice to force off. If the cooktop is still hot, the auto-fan will resume; let it finish.
